About
About Cabinet Cheer
An Austin, Texas kitchen cabinet painting and refacing studio. We make tired kitchens look new again — for around a sixth of what custom cabinetry costs.
What we do
Cabinet Cheer paints existing cabinet doors, builds new doors onto the old boxes, and fixes bad paint jobs that didn't last. We refinish, reface, and reorganize — we don't tear out good cabinets to sell you new ones. The color is chosen by a trained colorist, in your light, for your kitchen, not picked from a swatch in a showroom.
Who it's for
This is for homeowners who want a fresh kitchen without a full replacement. If your boxes are solid and your layout works, swapping everything out is rarely the smartest spend. We're for people who'd rather keep a good kitchen and change how it feels — the color, the doors, the hardware — and put the difference toward something else. It's also for the homeowner who got burned by a cheap quote and peeling doors, and wants the job done right this time.
Who builds it
Cabinet Cheer is built by Lydia Marsh, a trained colorist and lifelong Austinite. Lydia runs the crew, picks the colors, and is on every job. She's one of the few women on the tools in Austin's construction trade, and the business is Women Owned and Operated — meaning the work isn't done until you stop finding things to fix. Cabinet Cheer is new; the work isn't. Lydia spent years running the Austin franchise of Cabinet Cheer before going out on her own: same crew, same standards, every decision now hers to make.
Women Owned and Operated.
